In the process of understanding astrology, it seems to have been studied in different ways. Of which astrological prediction is established as an important type. Which predicts Earth and human events through observation and interpretation of certain stars, sun, moon and planets.
Devotees believe that the influence of planets and stars on the earth allows them to predict and influence the destinations of individuals, groups and nations, and to adopt the same caution.
Although often considered a science in the history of astrology, astrology is widely believed and trusted around the world. On the other hand, there are a large number of people who are currently convinced that modern Western science is contrary to research and theory.
Astrology is a method of predicting world events based on the assumption that earthly bodies, especially planets and stars, are considered in their voluntary combinations or configurations (called constellations), in some way determining or signaling changes in the world.
The theoretical basis for this notion has historically been in Hellenistic philosophy and distinguishes astrology from the celestial omina (“omen”) in general, which was previously classified and listed in Mesopotamia.
Originally astrologers hypothesized a geocentric universe in which “planets” (including the sun and moon) orbit with their centers near or around the center of the earth and in which the stars are fixed in a circle with a circumference radius whose center is also the center of the earth.
Later the principles of Aristotelian physics were adopted, according to which the infinite, circular motion of the celestial element and the finite, linear motions of the four subluner elements: fire, air, water, the earth have a complete division.
Special celestial bodies and their various moves, configurations with each other; Fire, air, water and the earth are believed to have a special relationship between the generations seen in the world and the processes of decay. These relationships are sometimes so complex that no human mind can fully comprehend them; therefore, astrologers can easily forgive for any mistakes they may have made.
This kind of special relationship also had more to do with the physics than with the Greek philosopher Plato. For Platonic astrologers the element of fire was believed to have spread throughout the celestial spheres and Aristotlelians were more likely to believe in the possibility of divine interference in natural processes through celestial influences on earth because they believed the gods created the celestial bodies themselves.
The divine role in astrology is very different. On the hardest side of it, astrology posts a complete mechanical universe, denying the possibility of God intervening and free will to mankind; likewise, this side was attacked by radical Christianity and Islam. For some different concepts, astrology is not as accurate as astronomy, but only indicates trends and directions that can be changed by divine or human will.
According to Bardanes, a Syrian Christian scholar (154 – C.222) Hou is often referred to as a Gnostic (believing in the knowledge of the mystical redemption and the idea that the matter is evil and the soul is good) – to choose between good and evil by the motion of the stars. Leaving the soul free only rules the world. Man’s ultimate goal is to be liberated from an astrologer-dominated material world.
Some astrologers, such as the Haranians (from the ancient Mesopotamian city of Haran) and the Hindus, consider the planets to be powerful deities that can be changed through fasting and worship or change, even as the science of persuading gods or other supernatural powers.
In some interpretations – for example, in the view of Christian Prussianism (followers of the fourth-century Spanish ascetic Priscilla who held a bipartisan view) the stars reveal God’s will only to people trained in astrological symbolism.
The idea that the stars manifest divine will is close to the concept behind a collection of ancient Mesopotamian celestial omens. Their primary purpose was to inform the royal court of the impending catastrophe or success as it could take the form of a weather or epidemic event, damaging or affecting the entire human, animal or plant, even the population which helps to remain vigilant.
Mostly they were involved in the military affairs of the state or the personal life of the ruler and his family. Because the celestial omina was known not as a determinist but as an indicator. It is a kind of symbolic language in which the gods communicate with people about the future and are also believed as part of a vast chain of ominous events that their unpleasant foreshadowing can be reduced or nullified by ritual or vice versa.
Baru (official progressive) who observed and interpreted the celestial omina was in a position to advise the royal employer to avoid misfortune; Omens provide the basis for wise action rather than a sign of an inexperienced destiny.
On the other hand, the main purpose of astrology was to inform a person about his life at the moment of his birth or conception based on the location of the planet and the zodiac sign (12 astrological constellations). . From this science, called genetics (casting natives), the basic methods of astrology were developed. The main subdivisions of astrology that developed after genetiology are general, causal, and investigative.

General astrology studies the relationship of important celestial moments (e.g., verbal eclipses, eclipses, or planetary combinations) to social groups, nations, or humanity as a whole. It answers, in an astrological way, the questions previously asked in Mesopotamia.
Catarchic (beginning or source-related) astrology determines whether the time chosen is astrologically appropriate for the success of the work undertaken in it.
Basically in conflict with the rigorous interpretation of genetics, it allows the individual (or corporate body) to act at astrologically favorable times and thus avoid any failure predicted from his or her birth.
Interrogatory astrology provides answers to a client’s questions based on the position of the sky at the moment of the questions. This astrological consultation service is far from decisive than cathartic astrology; from this the future is nearby ominous and the method of astrology emphasizes purification and preparation.
Other forms of astrology, such as iatromathematics (the use of astrology in medicine) and military astrology, are variants of one or the other of the above.
